No, like others have said. The service is fast and reliable for people who download stuff immediately when it's posted here. That way the content spreads faster and is not lost. Mirrors should of course be always provided.

Ephemeral site. Like Snapchat when it first launched. Tired of scrolling through the litany of Brigadoon GoFile links, seeing gurls I love, and getting the Price is Right horns with the "File Does Not Exist" screen.

First of all, it's annoying. Secondly, it's wrong--the file DOES exist. It has a soul. It lives in the minds of all who remember it.

Okay, sorry to be existential. Can we just ix-nay GoFile?

Pixeldrain can be annoying because it doesn't always allow video previews.

Unless there's an alternative that doesn't require making an account I wouldn't share anything else. Banning gofile or requiring people to also post somewhere else is a really dumb idea. The main reason people use gofile is because it doesn't need an account.

Once someone has shared to gofile others can mirror to another site if they want.

Posts that only have dead gofile links are both annoying and clutter.

Ban, because people don't know how to use a good upload most of the time. They post everything on GoFile, it gets take down and the user simply disappears forever and never reuploads the files again. That's annoying.

If you zip the files that will probably prevent them from being taken down so fast....if at all. There is of course the minor inconvenience of not being able to instantly watch the video, you'll need to download ti first.

Gofile is still the best for videos above 2go along with mirrors, also if the link is taken down you won't get IP banned like with pixeldrain (just happened to me).

This will just result in less content being posted. I rarely see gofile links that don't come with a mirror already or are mirrored immediatly.

Literally no point to ban any hosting site unless its filled with malware. Some categories just dont have content, and if gofile gets banned itll deter people.

I get that it's annoying for content to get taken down, but I'd rather have that than be unable to play the video in-browser like a lot of the alternatives.
